A huge good luck (success) to all those taking part in the Alpe d’HuZes tomorrow. Hope it not too hot and the afternoon storms hold off.
The Alpe d’Huzes started around a similar time that we moved to the Bourg d’Oisans Alpe d’Huez region in 2007 and we have seen it grow from a group of friends attempting to climb the 21 bends of Alpe d’Huez 6 times in a day, to its peak of over 8000 people taking part and raising millions of Euro for there cancer based charity. Now slimmed down to a manageable 5000 the region welcomes thousands more with an army of volunteers of marshals, caterers, medical staff, support/safety motorbike riders and of course family and friends.
Good luck for tomorrow.
